I trust this finds you well and in good health. I am writing to you to share an opportunity to join us in a vaccine equity milestone moment! March 1st 2022 will mark the one-year anniversary of the first COVAX-enabled vaccine administered in a lower-income
country. This catalysed what COVAX AMC set out to do in providing equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines to ensure everyone, everyone has the same opportunity to be protected, no matter where they live. Today, over 1 billion doses have been administered globally in lower-and middle-income countries. Thank you for your support.
We are taking this moment to re-engage our community towards our collective target of achieving
70% global vaccination coverage by the summer of 2022. To do this, we urgently need your support to continue raising funds and doses from governments, companies and individuals. Attached you will find a Partner Toolkit with assets, key messages and suggested directions for showing your support on March 1st and beyond. In addition, we will be releasing a short video featuring Dame Harriet Walter of Succession & Ted Lasso fame, as well as global activists and WHO Foundation CEO Anil Soni, highlighting the urgent need to vaccinate the world. Bringing together diverse voices from all corners of the globe, the film shows the part we all have to play to end the pandemic and close the vaccine gap. The video,
