In March 2023, TigerEye's co-founder and CEO, Tracy Young, embraced the Pledge 1% initiative. Following this commitment, the company has contributed approximately 164 hours of volunteer service to a range of nonprofits across the U.S., including SF-Marin Food Bank, City of Dreams, various schools, and local organizations. From March to November, TigerEye's remote workforce of 25 averaged 18 hours of volunteer work per month, with activities spread out over states like California, Oregon, Massachusetts, and New Jersey.

As the post-pandemic landscape shifts, many executives are reverting to traditional office-centric models. However, Young stands by the efficacy of remote work. Embracing remote work has proven advantageous for TigerEye, not just for operational flexibility but also in fostering a culture of community involvement. The remote model offers employees the autonomy to balance their personal and professional lives, creating space for them to engage in volunteer activities that resonate with their values.

This empowerment aligns with Tracy Young's vision of a harmonious work-life integration, which is evident from her successful leadership at TigerEye. By distributing the workforce across the globe, TigerEye taps into diverse communities, allowing its employees to contribute locally and personalize their community service. This approach may set a precedent for others to follow, blending professional success with social responsibility.
