Satrang Technologies is a proud Pledge 1% member, having pledged to give 1% of profit and 1% of staff time to local communities and our environment. Pledge 1% initiative motivates us to give back something to our society because real happiness is to make other happy.
To come up with our pledge commitment, we took the initiative to support a fundraising campaign to provide 500 street kids with a nutritious meal everyday.
Why we supported this
Everyday, street kids (the hidden hungry of our city) sleep without adequate food. The social welfare schemes of our governments have failed to reach them. This campaign serves many underprivileged kids on periodic basis. This endeavour is to provide a warm nutritious meal to 500 Street kids everyday for 3 months. Children are the future of any nation and they are the pillar for growth of nation. A well nourished child has a better chance of breaking the vicious circle of poverty and deprivation. If the future generation is healthy and nourished, our nation will also grow healthy with them.
To date have raised RS 42501 and we are pledged to help bring in RS 61000.
We are especially excited to participate in Pledge 1% Gives this #GivingTuesday, and plan to do a cloth donation drive at office and/or visit a local orphanage to teach children about recycling and waste management. We will also provide lunch to all the kids of orphanage.
