Pledge 1% Gives Logo (6).png

This November 28th, we will celebrate GivingTuesday by sharing the many ways Pledge 1% members (of all sizes and stages) are moving their pledge to action.

Our plan is to publish at least one featured member story every hour throughout the day. Our team will design each piece for our blog and amplify the stories across our social media. We encourage all Pledge 1% members to participate!

H‌‌ow to submit a story‌‌‌‌:

This year, we are asking members to take a specific approach to your story: to select one impact stat or metric that you feel best reflects the culture and impact of your programs. This number can be:

  • Number of dollars donated to charity to date or this year;
  • Number of employee volunteer hours;
  • Number of goods, meals, or items donated;
  • Amount of funds unlocked via equity pledges;
  • Number of partners involved in your product program;
  • Number of years or months you’ve been a Pledge 1% member;
  • Among other things!
We encourage you to be creative when thinking about this number and to use the prompts and framework below to design your broader story about your company's impact program. More tips and examples can be found in our submission form.

This number does not have to be large! It's OK if your program is small or just starting out - any and all examples will help us inspire others to join the movement and leverage their assets to be a force for good.

Spaces are limited, so submit your story via ➡️ this form ⬅️ ASAP if you’d like to participate!

SUBMIT MY STORY

We will be accepting stories on a rolling basis. Submissions can be text or video format, and can include photos, quotes, and other materials you'd like to share. All pieces must be submitted via this form by Friday, November 17, 2023 📆

Our team will do some light editing to prepare the piece for publication. Note - not all pieces are guaranteed and the Pledge 1% team has the right to select the final stories.
