As you keep participating in the Pledge 1% community, your membership will reflect your increased activity. Specifically, you will notice ranks and badges applied to your account.
Ranks: Overall Reflection of Experience
A rank is the title associated with your profile. Your rank will be displayed whenever you comment, respond to a discussion, or create a post. Unlike other member settings, such as profile pictures or time zones, you cannot change your rank manually. Your rank will increase based on your overall site activity.

Badges: Rewards for Specific Actions or Achievements
Unlike ranks, which are awarded based on overall activity, badges are associated with specific achievements. For example, you can earn a badge by giving kudos, starting or responding to discussions, or even just completing your profile.
See what badges that you’ve earned by clicking your profile picture and going to “View All Badges.”
You can also see others’ badges by clicking on their circular profile picture. This action will take you to their “About” page.
