What content can inspire people to give back, participate and initiate social impact activities?

Hi,
at darwinLabs we have a new internal slack channel dedicated to social impact and I am looking for content to put there that inspires everyone inside our company to give back, participate more and even initiate social impact activities.

What articles, case studies, films, short-films, tools, stories, events , any content whatsoever do you know of that can inspire others to give back, collaborate, initiate, promote and participate in social impact initiatives ?

Hi @Diogo  - I trust more pledge members will give their insights - but your question reminded me of the response shared by @SarahFarris in this recent post.   Thought I would share in case it offers some insights about crowd-sourcing inspiration internally.

@diogo - some other ideas:

-Simple, easy CTAs (people want to get involved but often don't know how - show them the steps!)

-Share stories about nonprofits or causes your company has supported in the past (bonus points if you can message stories about how charitable funds you've donated has allowed them to scale / make a greater impact)

-Ask open-ended questions to get a conversation going (e.g. "What are some awesome nonprofits on your radar right now?" or "Do you have plans to work with any nonprofits this holiday season? Tell us below!")

Huge +1 to sharing stories about nonprofits or causes your company has supported in the past. I've posted follow-up stories in our shared volunteer slack channel, and team members were pretty happy to know that their efforts and donations had real, measurable impact. 

I like the idea about sharing stories, articles, etc to really inspire others and spark conversation. I'm going to try that! 😁

+1 definitely on sharing stories, really helps to bridge the gap from 'theoretical agreement' to action.
