Given the high demand for volunteering across the US, but also the increased restrictions in the last few years due to the pandemic, the monetary value of an hour of volunteering rose by $1.50 from 2018 to 2021, valuing it over $30 this year so far. Inflation could also have had an impact in this rise, but constraints on volunteering are likely to have been the most significant change on this valuation.
