Technology is most meaningful when it serves a purpose - Friends of Bharathapuzha (FOB)

In early 2023, the team at CONCLO Technologies Pvt Ltd. became members of Friends of Bharathapuzha (FOB) as a part of our Pledge 1% initiative. FOB is a citizen-led environmental organization dedicated to the conservation, restoration, and sustainable future of the Bharathapuzha River and water conservation in Kerala. Before proposing technology, we chose to understand the movement participating in events, working alongside as volunteers, engaging with the Executive Committee, and learning the organization's challenges over the next three years.

One of the defining moments of this journey was meeting Dr. E. Sreedharan Sir (Known as the Metro Man, he was awarded the Padma Shri in 2001, the Padma Vibhushan in 2008 by the Government of India, the Chevalier de la Legion of Honour in 2005 by the Government of France and was named one of Asia's Heroes by Time  magazine in 2003.) , whose vision reinforced our belief that technology should empower people and strengthen institutions.

That journey culminated on 12 July 2026 with the launch of the Friends of Bharathapuzha Website and a custom Salesforce powered CRM, designed to digitally manage memberships, volunteers, programmes, campaigns, payments, organizational engagement and more. This was never just a website or a CRM implementation. It was about building a digital foundation for a movement dedicated to conserving Bharathapuzha river.

At CONCLO, we were honoured to undertake this implementation pro bono because not every contribution is measured by revenue. Some are measured by the impact they create. Our sincere gratitude to Dr. E. Sreedharan sir, the FOB Executive Committee, every volunteer and member.
