Hi! I'm Blair, CSR Manager at Braze. Our Social Impact Team is in the process of revamping our global volunteerism strategy, and we'd love to learn best practices from other Pledge 1% members who've had a hand in building similar programs/policies at their organizations.
Our questions--
- How did you go about setting your number of days (or hours) for your annual VTO benefit? (Especially curious how others with existing, flexible PTO policies went about this)
- How do you set guardrails around what qualifies as volunteer time and what does not?
- For those with product grant programs, does support of your product grant customer accounts count toward employee volunteer time?
