Dear Pledge1% Community,
We are happy to share with you the success of our Earth Day 2024 (a week-long event) program conducted by CONCLO Technologies, centred around the official theme, "Planet vs. Plastics."
In line with our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, we developed and executed a comprehensive initiative aimed at raising awareness about the harmful effects of single-use plastic and promoting eco-friendly alternatives. As part of our program, we distributed cloth bags to our office staff and members of the community. These reusable bags not only serve as practical alternatives to single-use plastic bags but also symbolize our collective effort to reduce plastic waste and protect our planet. Throughout the campaign, we conducted educational sessions to highlight the detrimental impact of plastic pollution on our environment, wildlife, and human health. By empowering our employees and community members with knowledge, we aimed to inspire meaningful action towards reducing plastic consumption and adopting sustainable habits.
The response to our initiative was overwhelmingly positive, with enthusiastic participation from both our staff and the local community. Through our collective efforts, we were able to make a tangible difference in promoting a plastic-free future and fostering a culture of environmental stewardship. One key highlight was that the bags were made by the local women self-help group which also promoted the company’s policy of create opportunities locally for underprivilege women.
We are happy to be a part of Pledge1% in our sustainability endeavours and are committed to continuing our efforts to create a greener, more sustainable world.
