Here’s the updates and Pledge 1% aligned events from Atlassian Foundation coming up - two in person NEXT WEEK built around SXSW Sydney, and one online opportunity. Please see below:

Impact Practitioners Meetup - Social Networking in Sydney, Oct 16

• Join us for a social networking sundowner on Oct 16, 5-7pm at the Belvedere Hotel

• We will put on a modest bar tab and light snacks, and look forward to connecting with our fellow Pledge 1% members, and social impact peers there to learn about your work, and social impact initiatives.
• This event is open to those in all roles across the Social Impact space, please feel free to pass onto your colleagues/ networks

SXSW Sydney - Atlassian Impact & Culture Breakfast Event, Oct 15

• A breakfast side event hosted by Atlassian, featuring Amy Lyden (Westpac Foundation & Scholars) and Aubrey Blanche-Sarellano (Culture Amp) alongside Atlassian's Dom Price & Steve King
• 8:30am - 10am on Tuesday, Oct 15
• Novotel Darling Square, 17 Little Pier St

We’ve got our second Social Impact Book Club event live!

• We’re encouraging independent, self-led learning supported with peer discussion to support our work with Pledge 1%

• Our second session is running Nov 21, at lunchtime AEST, and we will be discussing Mission Economy by Mariana Mazzucato.
• The format we have chosen does NOT rely on you needing to have read the book each time, you are still able to attend, gather the key learnings, and participate in the Q&A/ discussion to increase practitioner knowledge.
