September was a busy month for the Pledge 1% community. Here's a look at two events that brought members together on opposite sides of the United States.
Asheville Service Day: Give Back & Connect
About 25 members, local business leaders, and companies curious about Pledge 1% came together in Asheville for an afternoon that mixed community impact with networking. Together, we wrote more than 50 letters for Letters Against Isolation, which sends handwritten notes to isolated seniors.
The event was part of Venture Asheville's Entrepreneurship Week, which featured Pledge 1% across its social channels and emails. Several attendees left ready to take the pledge themselves. It's inspiring to see word about Pledge 1% spreading through the Asheville business community, and we can't wait to welcome the newest members from the event.
Perk Up with Pledge 1% at Dreamforce
During Dreamforce week in San Francisco, we connected with Salesforce partner members from around the globe. It was a great reminder of how many Salesforce partners build giving into the way they do business.
