Hi all - Braze just opened a role for a CSR Manager. Our Social Impact Department oversees Pledge 1% (equity pledge), Corporate Social Responsibility, and DEI. This role will have two core focuses – building out our product grant program and starting a formal pro bono/volunteer program in parallel. We currently have one product grant program called Tech for Black Founders, which provides free Braze to smaller businesses in an effort to help address VC funding inequity (only 1.2% for Black founders). We currently have 23 companies in the program. The Social Impact Department was started in December 2021, and this person will be the fifth member of the team (we currently have a Sustainability Manager, two DEI Managers, and myself).
